Sales & Marketing Manager / Director
AssayMetrics Ltd is a technology company with innovative products for the drug discovery and high throughput screening marketplaces, based on unique fluorescence lifetime technology. The Company seeks to appoint a new Sales Manager / Director based at its Cardiff facility.
The Role: Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will create and manage global sales infrastructure and help determine strategy. You will develop and implement effective distribution network through, agents and distributors, and ultimately direct sales team including personal direct selling. You will also be expected to contribute to the strategic planning of the business as well as preparing forecasts and reporting to the board.
The Candidate: A committed and energetic individual, you will have a strong commercial track record including international direct selling and managing a sales team in the analytical instrumentation or related industries. Ideally you will have a technical background in the physical, chemical or biological sciences. You will also be prepared to undertake considerable short- and long-haul travel.
