AssayMetrics will be presenting a poster (PDF) on the Monte Carlo screening simulation of lifetime assays. The poster describes the Monte Carlo model and how it was successfully used to demonstrate the effectiveness of fluorescence lifetime assays compared to ordinary fluorescence assays. Initial results show that false negatives in FRET assays could be effectively reduced using a simple lifetime technique.
